Hi! I'm Noura.
Working as an accounting and tax professional, I was pretty content serving Corporate America. I am highly skilled at preparing large companies for tax season and managing complex financial systems within a deep network. My job was to squeeze every dollar for its maximum value to ultimately serve the bottom line.
It wasn't until the Arab Spring of 2011 that my focus started to change. My involvement in the world of nonprofits suddenly became deeply personal. As a Syrian immigrant, born and raised, I was profoundly affected by the revolution that took over my home region. Worried about the state of the world, I joined forces as an activist, speaking publicly against the violence, and fundraising for nonprofits to support citizens on the ground. I focused my efforts on asking for individual donations with the "don't ask don't get" mentality. In my time working with various nonprofits, I helped to raise over $15 million and I continue to serve nonprofits to nurture their mission, grow their cause, and maximize every donation that enters into their organization.

As a former Paralegal Assistant, I received fulfillment by helping others, case building and going the extra mile to make sure the client, Paralegal and Attorney has everything they need before they go to trial. I learned how to leverage what I had to get what I needed, naturally, I carried that over to Write the Vision Plainly, LLC.
I started getting heavily involved with grant writing and its practices in 2019. In the middle of the pandemic shutdown in July 2020 I got fired from my Corporate job and it was the best day of my life! I had 5 years as a Paralegal Assistant (or Records Revival Specialist) at a records retrieval firm that specialized in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. I became a Certified Grant + Nonprofit Consultant - I knew my new chapter was beginning. I noticed these two ongoing problems: first, new 501(c)(3) nonprofits and new grant writers are on the rise (a lot of the known practices, protocols are forgotten) they need help and second, there are $1.2 Billion Dollars (with a “B”) in grant funding on the table and this funding is released daily - the Funder WANTS to get rid of it, but they won’t go against protocol.
By the next year I’ve already received funding and I help others how to do that – it starts at the foundation. I’m not your Average Certified Grant + Nonprofit Consultant. I take things to the next level by building a structure for the language of Grant Proposal Writing that gives a comprehensive breakdown of the grant proposal process. Inclusive of training, practice, and jargon associated with the Funder. Lastly, a realistic point of view of what the funder is looking for and writing a grant proposal/grant application accordingly from the start.
